ARGO MARITIME is proud to announce our cooperation with ISLA BROWN HOTELS & BLUE-FUN, specifically in the yachting field.
[vc_row content_placement=”top”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Our company “Argo Maritime”, as Product Managers, had the assignment for the organization of the study and installation of new custom stabilizers (zero stabilizers) for the ultra-luxury yacht AKIRA ONE (Benetti 49). The project was accomplished in full success and in accordance with the time schedule.
The following works have been carried out :
1. Cutting and reinforcement of laminates of the new shaft for the support of the new stabilizers installation.
2. Purchase of hydraulic zero speed and installation of new hydraulic and electrical circuits.
The Following Collaborators assisted our Company throughout the entire Project:
· The Main Supervision of the Project was assigned to Mr. Mattheopoulos Georgios and his associates of GeoMat Yacht Consultancy.
· Ventouris GP (Mr. Ioannis & Peter Ventouris) performed the Hardware Installation –the dismantling and refitting of zero stabilizers.
· Mr. Drakos Nikitas was in charge of the Hydraulic Circuit Installation.
· The Internal Welding (Aluminum and Support Constructions) was executed by AlouminoTechniki – Mr. Niaouris Kyriakos.
· Mr. Livadaras Manolis performed the External Welding.
· Mr. Vatikiotis Alexandros was in charge of the Electrical Circuits & Electronic Installations
· Overall Painting of the Yacht, with excellent results was accomplished by Progroup Hellas with the assistance of the high quality paints of Jotun Hellas Ltd.

Beginning July 1, 2020, the Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travelers, carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe throughout the season.
The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is a key element in the planning. All travelers are obliged to complete their PLF at least 48 hours before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of your stay while in Greece. It is not yet clear which part of the PLF is applicable if arriving in Greece on a private sailing vessel. More information when we have it.
The authorities announced last night various extensions to the already imposed traveling and sailing restrictions up to 30/06/2020.
The extensions are published on the Government Gazettes issues #2280-2281-2283-2284/14-06-2020.
Pleasure yachts from all foreign harbors are still not allowed to enter Greece except prior bookings have been made with a port, harbor, marina and/or dry dock (only to mainland destinations) and permission given from the Greek Port Police and the Greek National Health Center.
Upon arrival such yachts are not allowed to sail to another port etc. until 1 July, 2020.
No entry to the country for non-EU citizens, or for yachts coming from Italy, Turkey or Albania.
Ferries to and from Italy are not operating.
International arrivals by sea will be allowed as of July 1.
On arrival an electronic form PLF (Passenger load factor) will need to be completed with contact details while in Greece.
Random tests will also be performed and travelers will undergo a 14-day quarantine if the test is positive.

Until 15 June, international flights are allowed only into Athens airport. The ban on flights from the UK and Turkey is maintained, but the ban on flights from Spain, Italy and the Netherlands has been lifted.
From 15-30 June, international flights will also be allowed into Thessaloniki airport, but there will be a ban on flights from Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Turkey, Albania and Northern Macedonia.
From July 1, international arrivals are allowed at all airports in the country and Greece is participating in the EU wide inclusion for the list of third countries currently excluded from the ban on flights.
